I am a fine artist and illustrator working mostly in black ink. I am interested in the representation of different textures through line by careful observation and study. My work often explores textures that are interesting to me such as flowers and nature, bones, and food. I'm inspired by the woodcuts of Albrecht Durer, the engravings of Gustave Dore, and early modern scientific illustration.
